Hi , I’m Sammy. I come from a background in care work, supporting people through complex, vulnerable, and often deeply challenging situations. That experience continues to shape how I work today - with compassion, steadiness, and a genuine respect for each individual’s lived experience.
Alongside my working background, I’ve navigated my own journey with chronic illness and periods of emotional and physical overwhelm. It was through this that I was introduced to hypnotherapy and NLP. Rather than feeling like a quick fix, these approaches offered something I hadn’t found elsewhere - a calm, structured way to support my nervous system, gently shift long-held patterns, and feel more grounded in myself.
The impact was profound and far-reaching, supporting me not only through illness and difficulty, but in everyday life too. This personal experience is what led me to train so I could offer the same kind of supportive, evidence-informed care to others.
I hold a Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD) and certification in Clinical and Advanced Hypnotherapy and I am also a registered member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH).
My approach is calm, collaborative, and tailored to you. Sessions are gently paced, with no pressure to push or perform - just a safe, professional space to explore what’s happening beneath the surface and support meaningful change at a level that feels right for you.
About me ..
why I work this way..
I believe meaningful change happens when people feel safe, heard, and supported - not rushed or pushed to “fix” themselves. Through both my background in care and my personal experience of chronic illness, I’ve seen how easily the nervous system can become overwhelmed, and how that can affect both physical and emotional wellbeing.
Hypnotherapy and NLP offer a way of working that respects this. Rather than focusing solely on issues or surface behaviours, we work gently with the subconscious mind, supporting regulation, insight, and lasting change at a pace that feels manageable.
Accessibility is important to me. I believe support should feel possible, not out of reach, which is why I aim to keep my sessions affordable and offer flexible options. Alongside online work, I also provide in-person sessions within the comfort of your own home locally, helping reduce additional stress and making support easier to access when it’s most needed if you are unable to get to me.
I work in a calm, collaborative way because I know that when the body and mind feel supported, change becomes more natural and sustainable. My role is not to direct or control the process, but to guide, support, and create a space where change can unfold safely and in a way that feels right for you.
Lasting change..
Real change isn’t about willpower or pushing harder. It happens when the nervous system feels safe enough to respond differently.
A gentle process..
Sessions are paced carefully, allowing change to unfold naturally and sustainably, without pressure or overwhelm.
